To whom it may concern , I am currently a licensed veterinary technician in a small animal practice in Nebraska, seeking a position with your company. I have been hard at work for the past four years performing the duties of my title, as well as making and curating strong client relations. I am self-motivated, task oriented, and do well under the pressures of the job. My ability to show empathy and speak with compassion to my clients makes me an excellent candidate for this position. In my years in practice I have been able to problem solve and create systems that allow for ease during work, and have been delegated tasks that are beyond my regular duties. My compassion for animals and my knowledge in the field will make me an asset to your company during the duration of my employment. At my current clinic, not only do we see the usual day-in, day-outs of clinical practice, we also work emergency hours when clinic hours are over giving me experience with toxicology, triage, and emergency medical management. On top of having the proper skill set, I am also excellent with client communication. My upbeat and positive outlook makes me approachable, teachable, and easy for clients to find common ground with. My recent experience in the clinical setting has allowed me to work with a diverse group of colleagues, clientele, and animals.
