IT Administration: Full Time On-Call Systems Administrator

Special Projects: Coordination, Implementation & Support

Responsible for all aspects of I.T.:

  • Configuring and Maintenance of network hardware: Desktops, laptops, servers, routers and switches, Hamachi VPN, Office 365 (Email, Calendar, Teams), AV/Malware, Fonality phone System.
  • Update and maintain two (2) Host Servers running Hyper-V Instances: Burke-DC (Primary Domain Controller), BDC (Backup Domain Controller), App1 (Legacy RM Server), App2 (Legacy, converted to Fixed Assets), new PDC Server 2019, QuickBooks Premier Non-Profit (Frankly Music).
  • Maintain all servers, workstations and ISP's run 99% uptime on average. 60+ Total Devices: Desktops, Laptops, Servers, iPads (Includes full system and Operating System Updates)
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Backups run every 15 minutes offsite (CrashPlan, ShadowCopy (Local), Atera Backup and Incremental Snapshots of “Mission Critical Servers” –daily notifications and monitoring, Offsite Snapshot rotations (physical drives are rotated offsite weekly)
  • Full-Time HelpDesk: 7AM -6PM most days.
  • Full-Time On-Call–Includes nights and weekends when after-hours work when required. Normally 2 weekends per month for server updates and major patch management.
  • Real-time Network Monitoring through Auvik Networks.
  • Phone System Administrator: Monitor and troubleshoot Fonality VoIP and E-Fax Solution. “Enterprise Communication Platform”: Dan Claire is a Certified Fonality / Netfortris Administrator. Maintain HUD (Heads-Up-Display), call routing, voicemail to email, call forwarding, virtual extensions, E911, etc.
  • Upgrading and repairing computers and local Leasing Office networks
  • Troubleshooting network issues
  • Deploying and updating software (Third Party Apps: Java, Adobe Reader, Soda PDF, DropBox etc.)
  • Managing cloud and physical network storage
  • Support all Printers, High Speed Document Scanners and Check Scanners
  • Maintain ISP's (Spectrum, ATT, Cellular Hot Spots, US Cellular Failover for Burke Corp) Schedule updates for all onsite routers, Wireless Access Points (WAPs)
  • Track and maintain all contracts regarding ISP and Telephony
  • Deploy and manage Wireless and Guest Networks at all properties.
  • Support Cell Phones: Email (Office 365)
  • Deployed and support Digital Signage for Burke Corp
  • Place orders for equipment within our vendor network to fulfill end user special project requests
  • Support Video Surveillance at multiple properties.
  • Front Office Backup: Support Front Desk when needed. Answer phones, receive packages, mail, coordinate building repairs, vendor management.

Special Projects:

  • Covid-19 Response in getting all employees working remotely.
  • OneDrive Testing and eventual implementation: On Hold due to C-19
  • Yardi: Proficient in Yardi and implement or assist with any Yardi Special Projects and day-to-day issues and end-user (both internal Burke Issues as well as current and future renters through Rent Café and BlueMoon Leasing)
  • Google Apps: Tracking all favorites and password management. Needed for all online access and business continuity.
