Work as a Helpdesk Technician/ System Administrator with the FBI Agency for NIPR, SIPR, and Top Secret. Assist user with installing software on a daily basics by remote into user computer via Microsoft LYNC to assist user on the SECRET side with Software install, MS Office and Windows issues. Assist user with other applications that the agency uses on a daily basics. I also use MSRA on the UNCLASSIFIED system which is called Microsoft System Remote Access. Able to ping user computer to check to make sure user is on network and that the server is up and running properly depending on what system that is being accessed. Performing CMD.EXE tools as well with scans on user computer for vulnerability for security issues.
The IT Service Desk Specialist 1 will be responsible for providing first-level contact for incoming technology issues. Responsible for support and trouble shooting of enterprise end user systems, to include basic printer,software, peripheral and technical troubleshooting and repair. Requires a minimum High School Diploma, with up to 2 years of equivalent experience preferred. Provisioning of user accounts, assigning permissions and granting network share access. Additional responsibilities will include the preparation and deployment of new computer systems to end-users. Enterprise tool sets will be leveraged for the provisioning of user systems, as well as documenting/logging of end-user issues into tickets. Interfaces with users of Information Technology, employing a high degree of tact and diplomacy to promote a positive image of the department, while providing superior customer service and timely incident resolution. Accurately communicates pertinent information to create a work environment that lends itself to the best interests of departmental personnel and customer service. Helps maintain a central source of information enabling Service Desk staff and support technicians to recover outages and other technical issues with minimal disruption to expected service levels. Responsible for first level support and resolution of incidents received via the IT Service Desk. Function will be attainable through the use of remote tools, via telephone or on rare occasions, in person.Notify Service Desk Duty Manager when customer impacting problems are encountered.Assignment of tickets to responsible group/team when outside resolvable scope.Provisioning of end-user access to systems and file shares.I have General knowledge of Client computer hardware, Knowledge base system as well with support/troubleshooting (preferred hardware Client), MS Office, GMAIL, iPhones, Blackberries,Avaya softpad phones, Ipad.
