Strategic Accounts is the Engineering face of the Unified Storage Division. We evangelize Unified technologies globally to help drive sales and gain market share. We serve as the Engineering liaison between the Dell EMC field, our customers and development and escalation engineering. We engage across the entire sales cycle with the goal to remove obstacles, provide accurate and timely information, and become trusted advisers to our internal and external customers.
As a Strategic Accounts team member I have served in a variety of customer-facing activities. I also have the opportunity to drive engineering requirements. I am also a resource for the local UIG field organization providing a quick an efficient knowledge transfer.
My activities have included:
•       Customer-Facing Activities
–      Beta Support
–      EBCs / Field Briefings
–      Roadmap Updates
–      Escalation / Issues Assistance
•       Engineering Requirements
–      Drive requirements for strategic accounts
–      Escalate issues and propose solutions
•       Transparent Knowledge Transfer
–      Quick and efficient access to engineering knowledge via training etc.

Principal performance CSE for the EMC Enterprise and Mid-range Systems Division (EMSD), market leader for enterprise storage. Assisted in creating solutions to increase performance, efficiency, and business agility, helping customers accelerate their IT transformation to meet the new demands of virtualization and the cloud. Work with the mid-range storage products to perform various testing, collateral creation, best practices analysis and issue recreation to assist the customer in the most productive way possible.  
  • Analyze disk, cache, and other array performance characteristics through the use of specialized tools and load generators.
  • Explain/predict load behavior through the application of queuing theory, particularly as regards response time and utilization, on cascaded service centers.
  • Propose new performance analysis methodologies and measurement criteria for products under development or in beta release.
  • Contribute to the design specification (and possibly coding) of analysis tools used to interpret logged data.
  • Develop simulation models for commercial database applications, cloud computing, and streaming projects.

Provide in-depth product technical leadership to field sales organization and engineering in support of worldwide sales effort. Applicant should have a strong NAS/SAN background.

  • Provide technical product articles, documentation, white papers, presentations, demonstrations, trade show participation, field sales and customer consulting, and customer briefing presentations.
  • Develop and provide leading-edge and ongoing product education using video conferencing, formal education, regional office visits and 2nd level technical consulting support for the sales help desk.
