b) New online and batch interfaces from Credit Card System (CCMS) to Falcon 6.4
c) Online interface consist of 2 main modules : i. Routing of online authorization to Falcon 6.4 for decision whether to approve or decline the transaction ii. Non-monetary update to Falcon 6.4 for static data update e.g. mobile phone numbers, email address, PIN change, credit limit change and card activation.
d) Implementation starts with technical go live whereby the old version of Falcon 4.7 is running in parallel with new Falcon 6.4 until hit maturity period whereby the decision will be based solely on Falcon 6.4. During the parallel run, the decision is still taken from the old falcon v4.7.
Tasks include monitoring of the project delivery from end to end, lead a team of 2 developers, performing code and unit test review based on technical specification prepared by design team, supporting system integration test and user acceptance test, ensure all the deliverables are ready for pre-implementation activities and support post-implementation of the project.

Despite of all the challenges e.g. minimum amount of resources and tight timeline, the project was able to be delivered on schedule.
1) India GST
India will implement goods and services tax (GST) on 1st July 2017. GST is a value added tax, levied at each stage of the supply chain (output tax), and eligible credits allowed for any GST paid to suppliers (input tax). It is chargeable on all supplies of goods and services made in India, with limited exemptions. The framework includes GST levy by the Centre (Central GST) and by the State (State GST), on the basis of destination principle. Any inter-state supplies would be subject to Integrated GST (where the GST rate is the aggregate of the Central GST and the State GST). Upon go-live, SCB's impacted systems and processes must be able to properly capture and account for GST on all business transactions. For India, the GST amount calculation is handled by an external system called Tax Engine. All other transaction processing systems are required to send the all the daily transactions to the Tax Engine and Tax Engine will revert with the GST amount to be posted.
Tasks include preparing the functional specifications and review the technical specification prepared by the team.
2) India Probe G3 Upgrade
The Probe solution from Experian is a customer account management decision system, whereby all SCB customer retail account data will be aggregated for a customer level assessment and decisions on the customer accounts are fed back to the relevant account management and collection systems for appropriate actions to be performed on affected accounts.
Scope of enhancement :
a) Extract files, created and provided by CCMS at cycle point (or as a result of a significant event) as the input to Probe.
b) Feedback file, output from Probe to be created and provided to CCMS. The information on the Feedback file is utilised by CCMS, to execute recommended actions on the related accounts.
Tasks include preparing the technical specifications and review the coding and unit testing performed by the team.
