Conducts and manages the independent review and analysis of proposals transmitted to the three core University governing bodies: the Academic Senate's Representative Assembly, Senate Council, and Committee on Academic Personnel.
Serves as principal liaison between Senate committees and campus administration and identifies and implements opportunities to foster and develop positive working relationships with campus administration.
Facilitates and manages the review of over 600 academic faculty members a year.
Designed and implemented a new online voting system for the Committee on Academic Personnel to improve operations and allow for the identification of possible issues prior to meeting.

Designed and implemented a new online system for the reporting of departmental voting procedures that provided uniformity and streamlined the review process for voting procedures from 29 general campus departments and Schools, as well as the Undergraduate Colleges.

Retrieves, analyzes, and reports data from departmental and campus databases.
Produces and publishes analytical reports from a wide variety of text and data sources.
Develops, updates, and provides training and orientation for committee members.
Provides work direction to Senate Analyst.

Provided support to the Senior Administrative Analyst in matters pertaining to the Committee on Academic Personnel.
Reviewed and evaluated proposals for graduate degree programs and curricula proposals, including the identification and articulation of possible issues with such proposals and recommending the appropriate courses of action.
Attended meetings, recorded minutes and committee actions, composed committee responses, and ensured appropriate follow-up actions.
Served as point of contact regarding matters under the purview of the Graduate Council, the Committee on Academic Personnel, the Committee on Extended Studies, and the Committee on Academic Freedom.

Managed enrollment for approximately 1200 students annual in Chinese language courses.

Initiated the revision of existing tracks for language courses to bring them into compliance with campus regulations and allow for easier management of enrollment in courses.
Managed all academic personnel actions for the program, including the hiring of teaching assistants and lecturers.
Procured visas for teaching assistants and lecturers as needed.

Managed program budgets and oversaw the processing of all travel, reimbursements, honoraria, transfer of funds, and PPS (pay-roll system) functions.
