Professional Experience
RN, BSN, 05/2014 to Current Interpath Laboratory – Folsom, CA, Provide high quality nursing care for acutely ill infants, premature infants and pediatric patients of all ages. Attend deliveries of healthy newborns as well as acutely ill and/or extremely premature infants. Care for infants and children requiring a variety of respiratory support including nasal cannula, vapotherm, RAM CPAP, Drager CPAP, SiPap, Conventional Ventilator, HFJV(High Frequency Jet Ventilator), and HFOV(High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator). Assist in procedures such as PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, lumbar punctures, intubation, eye exams, x-rays, head ultrasounds, and echocardiograms. Performs skills including placement of peripheral IVs, insert urinary catheters, monitor blood glucose, draw labs(heel stick, venous and arterial), administer medications(PO, IV, IM), insert NG/OG tubes, suction(inline, nasal, oral), sterile tubing changes, obtain vital signs, and perform full physical assessments.
