Complete and submit clinical documentation and daily progress notes and behavior chart in accordance with agency guidelines.
Support given for diagnostic and technical treatment procedures, such as setting up and operating special medical equipment and apparatus such as CPAP, INR monitoring, showering, etc.
Plan, prepare and serve meals and snacks according to prescribed diets and state regulations.
Provided transportation, assistance in and out of van and buildings as needed to client.
Clean and organized patients' living quarters. Performed household tasks such as laundry, dusting, washing dishes and vacuuming.
Positioned resident for comfort and to prevent skin pressure problems. Assisted with transferring residents in and out of wheelchairs and adaptive equipment.
Monthly ordering of medical supplies and keep bathroom stocked with necessary supplies to promote independence.
Provided personal nursing care in pre- and post-operative situations.
Chart daily information on the residents such as mood changes, mobility activity, eating percentages, and daily progress note and MAR.
Administer prescribed and OTC medications as directed and document in accordance to State and Agency regulations.
Recognized and reported abnormalities and/or changes in patients' health status to doctors as needed.
Assist with all ADLs to include dressing, brace and shoes, bathing and hygiene routines.
Must maintain communication with Agency's Regional Coordinator, CSB, DMAS, DBHDS and all medical and mental health providers on monthly basis.
Must complete annual training and keep certifications current for First Aid, CPR, YSIS/TOVA and Medication Management as required by Virginia State regulations.
