Product Specialist/Business Process Analyst Home Trust Banking Partnership Asheville, NC,

While working as a Product Specialist from 2006-2011, I was responsible for thousands of Department of Defense National Stock Numbers (NSN) used by DLA military customers, i.e., Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine. I ensure that the NSN’s was downloaded in our automated system and made healthy so that they could be placed on a DLA contract and stored at our depot for issuance. In order to ensure that the NSNs was healthy in our automated system, I have attached all manufacturing documents (drawings, federal and commercial specifications, testing requirements, specific storage requirements if necessary and material).

While working as a Business Process Analyst (BPA), GS11, I was responsible now for ensuring that regulations, manual, process and procedures were constantly reviewed and updated to ensure that DLA and it’s Product Specialist contracting for the correct material and parts needed by our military customers. I was responsible for a particular process area and on a monthly basis was required to train PSs on any process changes and procedures.

Prior to retiring from DLA in was responsible for training over eleven (11) Navy Equipment Specialists (ES) assigned at Naval Air Station Jacksonville Florida on the correct process used by DLA to manage all of Service’s NSNs.

Sales Service Associate Graphic Packaging Hamel, IL,

While working as a Sales Service Associate I was responsible for learning the entire city of Fuquay-Varina city and rural routes mail delivery, by street and house number. With that knowledge I was responsible for sorting all the different classes of mail to it’s assigned city and rural carriers. This task had to be performed within ninety-nine (99) percent accuracy. Once this task was completed I was responsible for placing all mail for the next delivery day, out to the carrier’s stations with the same accuracy. To complete my work day as a Sales Service Associate, I worked the post office window. Responsible for the sale of all postal products, i.e., stamps, money orders, shipping and packaging products, post office mail boxes via their automated system.

I also served as Union Representative (President and Shop Steward), responsible for ensuring that Management and Postal Employees had a cooperating working relationship. I also served in the capacity of Acting Supervisor (240B), responsible for all employees Sales Service Associates and Mail Carriers. This ensured that all end of day reports was submitted on time, Sale Service Associated accounted for all product sales funds adequate. I also was responsible for resolving postal customer issues that arrived while serving as Acting Supervisor.

Transportation Management Specialist United States Army City, STATE,

Prior to working at Ft. Hood, Tx transportation office, I served in the same position in Kaiserslautern and Heidelberg Germany from 1980-1987 as a Transportation Specialist responsible for the movement of Military Personnel and their Families personal property (household goods). As a shipment counselor I advised members on their shipping entitlement IAW the Federal Joint Transportation Regulation (FJTR Vol 1). After advising members on their entitlement I prepared “ALL” necessary documents to have their property picked up and moved to it’s final destination safely. Also; during my assignments stateside and abroad I arranged and coordinated with Commercial Carriers via our automated system to pack, pick up and ship members personal property to their next duty assignment.

Also; working as a Transportation Management Specialist I worked as a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist. I was responsible for inspecting members household good shipment; upon delivery to the member for proper handling and recording any or damage noted during delivery. Also; while working in the QA division I was responsible for inspecting the Commercial Carriers movement and storage facilities. To ensure that the facilities met Department of Defense approved storage requirements. That the facility fire specifications were met, insurance coverage was current, security requirements were met and that all military personnel property housed is properly stored.
