The gym is my first love and it always will be. I began working out in 2014 at over 300 lbs standing at just 5'7" and on the verge of permanent liver damage. To say the least, I wasn't familiar with diet and exercise -- and it effected my entire life. I was highly interested in computers etc. and my health was the least of my concerns. Since then, I've lost over half of my initial starting weight, dropping down to 150 lbs and soon will be competing in powerlifting. I still love computers. I'm working on a master's degree in computer science and have obtained related certifications such as: Certified Ethical Hacker and CompTIA Security+. The difference now is, the gym is a bigger part of my life. People helped me get to where I am today and shaped me into the person I am today (literally). Because of the gym I've acquired a love for helping people when it pertains to any of my passions: sciences, nutrition, and exercise to name a few.
