Summary

Currently completing my second year of the Master Of Clinical Audiology course at UWA, I have 20 years of nursing experience in the public and private health system, predominantly in the areas of Haematology and Oncology. I decided to transition into the Audiology profession after having experience as a consumer caring for my young son who was born with a genetic bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. As a family we have been very fortunate to experience the highly skilled and empathetic professionalism within the Audiology and Early Intervention pathway clinicians. I hope to draw upon my skills and experience gained as a Clinical Nurse Specialist to successfully complete this Masters Course and provide care and support for people with hearing loss, balance, and ear health issues in a diverse range of settings.
