Leading the ongoing development and implementation of Accounts Receivable best practices for Global Financial Shared Services and field-based operational Credit and Collection teams to further standardize and create efficiencies in Eaton's global A/R processes and procedures to meet the company's work capital goals.

  • Lead and develop a global team of 13 A/R functional experts located in US, UK, Brazil, India, and China.
  • Develop and conduct on-going training sessions for global teams – have conducted 10 field-based training session in the US, EMEA and APAC Regions
  • Lead the project integration/separation for trade and intercompany receivables for 10 Acquisitions and Divestitures.
  • Coordinate with internal and external audit teams to ensure global processes and procedures are being followed to the expectations of Eaton's A/R control narratives
Global Trade Credit Manager, 06/2013 - 07/2017Eaton Corporation, Cleveland, OH

Provided strategic leadership to the global Electrical Sector Credit and Collection teams in managing $2.1B of trade receivables to ensure Eaton's cash flow targets were met. Supported the integration of best practices throughout global process teams through the implementation of strategic projects, standardized processes and performance measurements, and staff development and education programs.

  • Implemented a 3rd party construction lien program for the industrial construction projects managed by the North American Credit and Collections team.
  • Conducted monthly A/R reviews for APAC region identifying areas of opportunities, the sharing of best practices used within the region, and creating region specific performance metrics to drive improvement in targeted areas. APAC region realized a 20% reduction in past due AR.
  • Provided functional expertisein support of the A/R integration of one of Eaton's largest acquisitions. Lead the knowledge transfer of Eaton's policies and procedures for granting terms and conditions on large industrial construction projects (domestic and foreign) to Financial Shared Service center team.
  • Developed a monthly global cash forecasting model used to support Treasury's and Corporate Accounting's working capital forecast. Forecasting model predicted company's cash received from global trade receivables within a 2% margin since its inception.
Division Credit Manager, 06/2010 - 06/2013Eaton Hydraulics LLC, Eden Prairie, MN

Lead and mentored a staff of 11 direct and 16 indirect reports (Pune and Brazil) in support of Eaton's financial goals, including improved cash flow objectives, enhanced quality of the receivable asset and the Hydraulics' division strategic market growth initiatives.

  • Provided oversight and approval authority for South American SSC and decentralized operations and on-going support of the ISSC-Pune credit department development in the EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Through front end process improvements and strategic support of payment term enforcement, the team was able to achieve record DSO levels and Collection Efficiency percentages.
  • North American trade deduction balances reached historic lows of less than 1% of total receivables. Developed and executed new process efficiencies which allowed for increased root cause analysis to correct upfront order entry and pricing errors.

Achieved outstanding results through providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching for a staff of 13 direct reports managing $145M in receivables in support of Eaton's financial goals.
