I completed 21 years in the United States Marine Corps as a logistics and maintenance professional. The majority of my career has been in the logistics field specializing in maintenance production for wheeled equipment. I have a great deal of experience managing multiple programs, while communicating readiness and shortfalls to both peers and upper management. Due to a multitude of challenges, I have established the ability of making sound decisions through proper planning or on the fly as needed. I have developed a solid skill set in the areas of leadership ability, supervisory experience and hands on mechanical skills that will serve as a foundation of success that will benefit any organization. I am looking for an opportunity to apply these skills and I am ready to take on any future challenges of any Logistics Management position.
Member of the Marine Corps Motor Transport Association 2012 to present
In 2016 I was recommended and submitted for the Marine Corps Maintenance Officer of the year award. During that timeframe I was responsible for a 54 shop and the maintenance on 377 pieces of equipment. My shop was responsible for the highest readiness percentage, had the highest inspection grades and the lowest repair cycle time within the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. I also have 2 combat deployments that enabled me to experience making hasty but efficient decisions while under pressure. I know that I will be a benefit to any team that I join.
