Professional Summary

Compassionate and focused individual offering 20+ years of professional, volunteer, and educational experiences that allow me to provide optimal support to populations that are often times under-served and underrepresented; such as, those that are experiencing the effects of dual diagnosis, homelessness, incarceration, and substance abuse. As well as other forms of trauma that can make every day life a constant struggle. For 10+ years, through civil and community engagement, I was honored to collaborate with various community organizations, such as the Archdiocese of California, to empower, strengthen and serve the aforementioned individuals. Through San Francisco City Hall. I had the privilege of interning under then District 11 Supervisor John Avalos and was introduced to the process of how laws and policies are manifested. Through Compass Family Services, I served as keynote speaker at several of their annual fundraisers to raise money for homeless families, which was held at the impressive Julia Morgan Ballroom here in San Francisco. Just to name a few. Therefore, I am eager to join and contribute my skills to the success of any organization that is committed to serving those who would otherwise be left to fend for themselves. I thank you in advance for any consideration given.
