I have been with Dental Associates for over 20 years, I have knowledge of the different departments within the Company.
I started as a dental assistant where I learned about dental procedures and how they are performed. I then moved to the reception side of the company where communication with patients was key to there comfort. I am now currently working in the dental billing department where I have communication with co workers and insurance companies.

I played a major roll in creating a more efficient way of handling the Federal Employee Program insurance process. The new process eliminated hours on the phone with the insurance company and eliminated the delay in billing patients for the insurance checks they received.
I also played a major roll in creating a claims follow up report. The report was rolled out within a month and provided a tool that allowed timely follow up on claims. All of the Patient Financial Services departments are now taking advantage of this report.
I was part of a training team that created a dental AR receivables job description that included four levels of training.
Worked as a team with the verification department and payment posting department. I currently handle the AR receivable for 4 clinics.
Communicated with patients and dentists. I also learned the basics about the dental billing process
