I have a great passion for vegetable and flowering gardening, interior decorating and re-purposing old stuff for decorative purposes. All being equal in passion.
I approached landscaping around my home to that of an artist canvas contrasting plant colors and height of plants to be most pleasing to the eye. I have received many compliments from neighbors passing by while out on their neighborhood walks.
I recently finished a complete inside and out remodel of my home I purchased in 2006. Most of the work I did myself from laying and finishing wood flooring, laying tile, painting the interior and exterior, re-purposing an old dresser to my bathroom vanity...ect. Everyone who has been in my home loves how beautiful it turned out.
Old stuff is so much fun...for me I love to re-purpose it to art...especially anything made from wood. I recently re-purposed an old one pane window to a chalkboard sign for my Mom to place on her front porch. She loves her front porch where she can sit a look at all her beautiful flowers and trees. I wrote on the chalkboard for her the following....Welcome to my porch where wasting time is considered - TIME - well wasted.
