As a Customer Care Coordinator at Beaver Dam Dental there are many roles throughout the day that require experience, intuition and exceptional attention to detail. Among them include a flawless patient experience. Helping patients check out after their dental appointment is my main role. Giving precise and accurate estimates for the treatment that is necessary, taking their payment for the current appointment, and helping schedule the next appointment all while making sure they leave with a smile is the goal. It ends with the patient feeling comfortable with their continuation of care and their financial requirements to achieve that goal.

As with any job, additional duties fill my day and create a feeling of being part of an amazing team. Answering the incoming calls as well as managing emails throughout the day, maintaining the doctors schedules, while making sure all revenue needs are being met are a primary focus. Inputting all insurance payments that come via fax, mail, and automatic EFT into the database and using Microsoft Excel to match the payments to the bank account. I often call insurance to figure out where different payments are and locating when or how they will be paying the office.

Customer care not only includes check-in and check-out but also the collecting of payments from patients and arranging payment schedules. Giving patients correct estimates for the dental work that they need as well as all of their financial options.
