Experience
Customer Care Coordinator, 08/2020 - Current
Lennar Thousand Oaks, CA,

As a Customer Care Coordinator at Beaver Dam Dental there are many roles throughout the day that require experience, intuition and exceptional attention to detail. Among them include a flawless patient experience. Helping patients check out after their dental appointment is my main role. Giving precise and accurate estimates for the treatment that is necessary, taking their payment for the current appointment, and helping schedule the next appointment all while making sure they leave with a smile is the goal. It ends with the patient feeling comfortable with their continuation of care and their financial requirements to achieve that goal.

As with any job, additional duties fill my day and create a feeling of being part of an amazing team. Answering the incoming calls as well as managing emails throughout the day, maintaining the doctors schedules, while making sure all revenue needs are being met are a primary focus. Inputting all insurance payments that come via fax, mail, and automatic EFT into the database and using Microsoft Excel to match the payments to the bank account. I often call insurance to figure out where different payments are and locating when or how they will be paying the office.

Customer care not only includes check-in and check-out but also the collecting of payments from patients and arranging payment schedules. Giving patients correct estimates for the dental work that they need as well as all of their financial options.

Sales Associate, 06/2014 - 06/2021
Ibc Oklahoma City, OK,

What started out as a part-time summer job turned into a full-time career until life circumstances changed and sent me in a different direction. This position changed the way I looked at work from being just a job to being a career.

On A daily basis, I would answer the phone and answer any questions customers might have about the merchandise or store in general. My primary focus was to work with our customers both online and in the store to make sure they had a fantastic customer experience shopping at Wilkins and Olander.

My five years at Wilkins and Olander molded me and made me the exceptional associate I am today. Those experiences included training new employees, processing online orders, gaining relationships with customers, and developing exceptional office management skills.

During my time at Wilkins and Olander I gained the title "Vera Bradley Specialist" which would require me to meet with the Vera Bradley brand rep and talk about the current selling season of Vera Bradley. I also ordered all of our Vera Bradley Merchandise, while staying on the stores budget for that season. I recorded all Vera Bradley sales through the computer system and send it in to Vera Bradley headquarters. I also created the weekly e-mails in Constant Contacts that were sent out to their customer data base. I was vital in creating all visual dispays throughout the store and organized. styled and maintained the online operations of the store.

Sales Associate, 09/2013 - 11/2014
Ibc Austin, TX,

While working at Sunseekers I learned all about sales. My responsibilities were to sell their products and packages, check customers in and out of the tanning salon, and clean the rooms. I learned how to work POS systems while working there, and to multi-task.

Receptionist, 06/2013 - 09/2013
H&R Block, Inc. Gaffney, SC,

While working at The Edge Salon I organized and updated daily/weekly schedules as well as monthly calendar obligations for the stylists. I called each customer and confirmed their appointments on a daily basis. I greeted visitors as they came in the door and made them feel comfortable while they waited for their appointment. I used A form of Microsoft Office to check customers out at the end of their visit and book their next appointment. I left The Edge Salon Because I was attending college.
