Meticulous Diesel Mechanic experienced as a fleet mechanic. Adept at completing scheduled maintenance accurately and efficiently. Dedicated to keeping team members safe and vehicles operating at peak performance.
Started in Carroll Ohio as a Field Service tech, worked my way up
to shop manager and moved to new shop in Cleveland Ohio. Worked there Until I married and Moved with my wife to Florida to be closer to her family.
Started out repairing Tractor and Dump Trailers for the first 3 year, after the shop Manager retired I was offered the job of shop forman incharge of keeping 60 trucks 80 trailers and equipment in top working condition, all had to work every day. I said I would only take the job if I could be a working Supervisor and it was agreed. So I worked beside all of my teammates we were like a big happy family.
The trucks and equipment worked all day, so I made shift changes to save the company money, we had 2 mechanics in 1st shift to handle any minor tire and small issues, and 6 mechanics on 2nd shift to make major repairs such as brakes tires clutches engines transmissions rears and drive lines. all of the equipment worked through the day from 3am to 3pm and longer. Second shift worked from 3pm till all equipment was ready for work.
