Fourteen years of experience in acute and critical nursing with the last four in the cardiac catherization/ electrophysiology lab.
Strong ability to flex between Cardiac Cath lab Electrophysiology lab and Nuclear Stress testing.
Extensive experience with Heart Alert Interventional procedures,pacemaker/ICD placement. and administrating conscious sedation.

Worked on a Medical Cardiology Step Down Unit as a lead nurse, led nurses and techs on a 25 bed telemetry unit. Duties included but not limited to direct acute care of 5-6 cardiac patients per shift, acting as charge nurse each shift and developing educational materials for staff RN's. Responsible for night shift RN's training, development and evaluations. Worked closely with unit director to establish protocols as well as enforcing hospital policy and procedures.
Provided care to critically ill patients in the MICU. Patients I cared for were mechanically ventilated patients, GI bleeds, overdoses, post op brain surgeries and head trauma.
Administered TPN, Propofol, Insulin drip , blood products and assorted IV drips.

Assist on diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
