I'm a hard working, dependable employee with good work ethics who strides in any and all work that I'm assigned. I'm a very quick learner and I love to learn to new things. I love to challenge myself and reach any goal I put towards myself.
Working at Woodland Oaks I take care of long term residents and residents that is there for rehab. In this field of work I make sure the residents are taking care of and make sure they have everything they need. I make sure the residents are bathed, changed or taken to the bathroom, dressed, make sure their beds are clean and made, I help clean rooms and feed if they need assistance. I'm not just there to help in a physically way but also I'm there emotionally too. If they need someone to talk to I'm there to listen to them and make sure they are alright. When I take care of rehab residents it is a little different. They are only there to receive therapy. During their stay I make sure they are taking care and make sure they have what they need. I help them bathe, get dressed, toileted. I also make sure they are going to therapy and staying on top of everything.
Currently working at Trinity Station Retirement Community I am working as a CMT. CMT stands for Certified Medication Technician. Working as a CMT, I prepare and make sure the residents get their medication on time. I also order their medication over the phone and make sure every resident has all their medication so they don't run out. I also help my co workers with anything they need like answering call lights, feeding and sometimes if short handed I work the floor as an SRNA.
I was chosen at my job to go to school for CMT. While in class I learned about different medications. I also learned about route administrations, adverse reactions, what medications can't be combined and always stay within compliance.
I'm very good at working on a computer. In school I had many computer classes.
