  • Schedule and assign corrective work orders, safety correctives and weekly pm's within final maintenance department.
  • I am currently assigned as plant champion for cranes, hoists and lifting devices throughout Ohio Assembly Plant. I work directly with Final PM planner, skilled trades, safety and Kone Crane to ensure Ford FAS08-128 standard is compliant and enforced.
  • Designated confined space writer Final Maintenance Department at OHAP. I work directly with skilled trades, process coaches, ERT, security and health & safety to ensure hazards are identified and PTA's are properly written.
  • Work with suppliers, launch, engineering and health & safety when new tooling is being built and installed. My job is to ensure that tooling is correctly installed, safety features are in place and standards are met. Work with suppliers, operators, process coach and engineering during pro-tag process.
  • Designated person for final maintenance to attend weekly health and safety no knock audits with Plant Manager, Area Manager, Team Manager, Process Coach, Team Leader and Health and Safety. Our responsibility is to seek/find abnormalities and hazards in a chosen area. We are a resource for production. My responsibility is to ensure maintenance items identified during audit have corrective work orders assigned and to ensure repairs are made in a timely manner.
  • Run daily maintenance meeting which includes, ME Manager, Process Coaches, Launch Leads, Process Engineer and selected trade leads. My job is to go over open issues, down equipment, parts needed/requested, safety concerns, training, weekend and future state planning. I utilize meeting to assign jobs for completion by specific trades and shifts.
  • Schedule weekend lineups. I work with ME manager to set up manpower and job assignments for each shift throughout weekend and downtime. I create and generate a specific schedule which is sent out to all process coaches and trade leads. They utilize lineup to assign work by shift, trade and name.
  • Solicit and schedule skilled trade overtime for final maintenance. I solicit for days off coverage and to support specific jobs such as launch and rebalance project work.
  • Run major breakdowns when they occur. My responsibility is to understand why we are down and determine what is needed to make repairs. I get appropriate trades to the breakdown and together we review what we see and what we need to make repairs. We review the start card and determine if a PTA is required. Once all safety protocols are set and we are properly locked out we start the repair process.
  • Ensure that department medical screenings and employee training is up to date. I work directly with process coaches to ensure we are meeting our training target. Training includes items such as ECPL, PMHV, WAH, Controlling Silica and Lifting and Rigging to name a few.
