SUPERVISION: I've supervised up to 6 Health Professions Recruiters in the Northeast and Midwest US, throughout a 19-state region. Gather and organize information; identify problems and areas for improvement based on observation and customer feedback. Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures or organizational changes. Develop new operations processes, present recommendations to senior management and implement changes and modifications. Prepare manuals and train workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy. Confer with personnel to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures. Monitor and evaluate the job performance of subordinates, and authorize promotions and transfers. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring. Obtain and maintain required certifications. Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area. Recommend, develop, and perform preventive and general maintenance procedures such as cleaning, power-washing and vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, and changing filters. Assist with other work in coordination with repair and maintenance teams.
I was mobilized for Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan Campaign - and accomplished various assignments and completed required combat skills training for activation and mobilization. In-theater duties included the safe maintenance, operation, installation, and repair of various heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. I also performed general construction labor and supervision for a wide variety of base construction and building improvement projects.
