As a Senior Food Service Director I manage every aspect of the food program during the school year and during the summer feeding program. The responsibilities of this position includes but are not limited to handling the human resource for the school district, installation of computer systems and training staff on hardware, ordering and inventory, managing staff, and knowing and staying in compliance with federal and state regulations.
I started the summer feeding program for the Central Greene School District in 2010. The program has grown to the largest summer program in Greene County hitting 4 corners of the county. Working together with community groups I was able to obtain several grants to help subsidize the program as well as pick up new feeding sites through out the county. I worked with the district union in developing a letter of understanding to create summer positions that worked into the programs budget. The Rotary Club and Community Foundation have honored the program and myself for the work that has been done with summer feeding.
As a Regional Manager with the Nutrition Group I manage multiple accounts overseeing all aspects of the program. This includes day to day management. Overseeing quality of product, customer satisfaction, and promotion of the program. I write and present all account budgets to the client and Board of Directors.
