Additional Information

I always find it important to explain my CDL situation. I currently have a class B CDL. In February of 2020 I obtained my class A permit and went to work with my uncle who owns a small trucking company. He has been a truck driver and owner operator since the 1980s. For a year I drove a tractor trailer semi truck under the supervision of my uncle. Due to corona virus I was never able to go take the driving test to finish obtaining my full class A CDL. So I just drove with my uncle under my class A permit for a year. Although I never obtained an actual class A, I did everything that any truck driver would do. Driving a semi truck with a manual transmission on flat land, through mountains, in snow, rain, tornadoes. In heavy traffic through big cities. I maintained a written log book. Adhered to all DOT laws and regulations. I eventually just went back to using my class B CDL to get a job driving a roll off dump truck.

I would also like to explain that I come from a family of truckers. All the way back to my great great uncle. My entire life I have been taught the rules of the road by my family. I think this is important to note because I have been shown all the ways to remain a safe, diligent, competent, and aware truck driver. I grew up in the cab of a truck and I take pride in being safe, careful, and responsible. I take care of and take pride in the equipment that I operate.
