Currently employed at Overland Park Regional Medical Center on the Ortho/Neuro/Trauma floor. Completed a nursing residency program here and was awarded the "Lantern Award" given to the nurse resident who showed the most leadership ability throughout the program. My residency group (which contained 4 out of the 20 residents) won first for our residency project for the hospital and our poster has moved on to the regional competition. Our project's purpose was to increase productivity of all staff in the hospital by establishing a standardized organization of the supply rooms throughout the hospital. This has been very popular and multiple nurse leaders and float nurses have praised our group for the difference they've seen throughout the hospital.
