I started as a medic in the Army. I worked in various settings but specialized in trauma. I deployed to Afghanistan and while there I treated numerous amounts of trauma patients along patients various medical issues. I later progressed to become a Licensed practical nurse. As an LPN I worked primarily in the emergency room but have experience in the Intensive Care Unit and Step-down unit. I have continued to advance my career by becoming a registered nurse working primarily in a level 2 trauma center but work in other area as well such as ICU. I am currently perusing my master's degree to become a nurse practitioner. I consider myself highly driven, motivated, caring and professional.
