This is a LTAC(Longterm Acute Care) hospital situated in Central Modesto. Patients remain here for longterm care & management of disease conditions. Most of the patients are referred to from other hospitals who require prolonged care. Patients are admitted based on their acuity levels. There are lower , medium & higher acuity patients. Majority of the patients are on vent via tracheostomy & ET tube. Basically, it is a' MedSurg' unit with a mix of all diagnosis. EMR is maintained on 'EVIDENT' software. Medication cart used is 'BD PYXIS'. Nurse to patient ratio is from 1:8 to 1:11. Nursing department comprises of DON, House Supervisor, RN, LVN & Nursing Assistant.

-Worked with Pre-op & Post-op clients after Cardiac Catheterisation, Coronary & Renal Angiogram, PTCA, Renal Angioplasty, Permanent Pacemaker Insertion, ICD(Single & Dual Chamber), EP-Study, BMV insertion, Paediatric Cardiac Catheterisation, Peripheral Angiogram, PTA, Thrombolisation, Atherectomy, Pericardiocentesis, Cardioversion.
