I acted as a visual deterrent for criminal activity, and general misconduct by maintaining a high level of visibility. I conducted semi annual readiness training which consisted of a physical fitness test, extensive weapons training and qualification, (Glock 9mm and AR-15 assault rifle) understanding and application of certain use of force techniques,(handcuffs, OC pepper spray, and expandable baton) and response to active shooter drills/operating as a "three person" fire team.
