Project Consultant for the Child-Friendly School January 2012 to May 2013UNICEF － Sana\'a, YemenI was responsible for
managing and organizing field and administrative work and coordinating with the
local and national authorities. I participated in the development of CFS manual
and monitoring tools. I facilitated and provided technical support in the
development of training and resource materials for the training of teachers,
school principals and supervisors on CFS. I worked with field offices and
education authorities to make sure the application of appropriate standards for
CFS was met in the targeted Child-Friendly Schools, and 3000 teachers, 300
school principals, school supervisors, and Mother and Father Council of
targeted schools were trained on the child-friendly school initiative and child
rights manual. I followed up appropriate participatory and community-based
approaches and that gender issues are incorporated in the planning and
implementation of the child-friendly program. I communicated with Wash and
Child Protection to be integrated within Child-Friendly School program and paid
attention to priority cross-cutting issues such as water and sanitation,
nutrition, social mobilization and communication in the targeted 200
Child-Friendly School. I participated in several meeting with Wash Cluster and
Child Protection Section and trained 120 local and national trainees on Wash
kits and Child Protection manual too. I worked with the Curriculum Section to
develop a manual on the Early Childhood Education Activities in targeted
schools for ages 3-6 by training teachers/ caregivers. I conducted field
visits, guided field teams in applying the Child-Friendly School standards, and
collected relevant data and information that contribute to section and office
reports. I monitored and participated on designing measurement tools for the
program assessment. I provided a monthly report of achievement.
Project Trainer for (AED) March 2008 to November 2011USAID, Academy for Educational Development － Sana\\'a , yemenMy responsibilities were managing local and national supervisors,
organizing field and administrative office work, and contributed on finalizing
the annual work plan with the Ministry of Education. I developed and finalized
training packages and methodologies that integrate issues related to education
(ex. the practice of democracy, critical thinking, child protection, wash,
leadership, and personal skills). I offered technical support to the targeted
schools through several field visits. I conducted capacity building for 102
teachers and trained 21 mothers and father council in the targeted schools at
the local level. I had to prepare a financial budget for training, and
conferences include travel and other requirements. I participated in the
preparation and conduction of workshops, conferences, meetings, and organized
events. I conducted a survey and its instrument to gather data for analysis. I
documented all achieved work and success stories. I contributed to the writing
quarterly report and submitted a monthly report.
National Education consultant May 2003 to September 2011Ministry of Education － Sana\'a, YemenI had to set an annual work plan for field visits and Managed and supervised local supervisors. I Interviewed new supervisors and built their capacity through training. I had to facilitate and offer technical support through field visits and communicated with a non-profit organization and create a partnership with the community. I also managed, organized administrative works at the curriculum and supervision Section and translated documents related to education. I monitored and assessed the learning process and outcome, and submitted weekly and monthly reports. I worked as a curriculum designer for the Educational Research and Development Center, Ministry of Education. As an exam maker, I designed examination for General Certification of Basic and Secondary Education, the National Examination for the Ministry of Education. I was selected to participate in the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) database-Yemen, offering technical support, translated documents related to TIMSS study, implemented TIMSS tests in the pilot schools and participated on collecting data from field research.

day to day duties. I lectured with class discussion and was able to deal with
