    Lowe's Home Improvement – Knightdale, NC
    • Welcomed, greeted and assisted guests in high-traffic store, where my department generates at least $60,000 weekly in construction sales.
    • Helped customers complete purchases, locate items and join reward and credit programs to promote loyalty, satisfaction and sales numbers.
    • Processed POS transactions, including checks, cash and credit purchases and refunds. Processed payments, purchases and refunds for businesses who do business by accounts receivable.
    • Processed sales over the phone for businesses.
    • Using Lowe's Genesis system, searched for information for customers and associates including item look-ups, special orders, delivery processes, account balances, tax exemption status, status of orders, copies of purchase and refund receipts.
    • Took on the maintenance of a volume purchasing program Lowe's offers, uniquely used by one of its customers. This includes a monthly update of items that this customer uses, processing it through the Lowe's corporate system, creating a Excell spreadsheet list in numerical order of their four pages of items and their new custom pricing, and overriding automatic pricing at POS.
    • Created a method for LAR (Lowe's Accounts Receivable) customers to be able to see what their discounted price would be, add that to their account, and finish the original transaction without re-ringing their order. I have since gone on to teach others the same method.
    • Trained new associates in how to use Lowe's Genesis system. Created and update a reference manual to be used by associates working in the Pro Sales area.

    • Applied play-based strategies, including crafts and games, to provide diverse approaches to learning.
