Summary

I have been a registered nurse for 3 years. I first got into the medical field 6 years ago as a medical assistant while I attended school to further my career as a registered nurse. I thoroughly enjoy patient care and furthering my education and nursing skills. I have always worked with a team of nurses, taking my own assignment, but having resourceful co-workers to assist when needed. I like to be organized and I am skilled in assessing patients, coordinating with providers and surgeons regarding patient care, assessing and determining vital signs, advocating for my patients, using therapeutic communication with patients and families, as well as utilizing my time management skills. I am always looking to broaden my knowledge in different areas of the nursing profession.
