Professional Summary

Registered nurse with over 20 years of operating room experience. Specialized practice in cardiovascular, orthopedic, robotic, general surgery. Job qualifications are several but one stands out the most is that I am highly adaptable in that I can do multiple surgeries and switch complete specialties. I can also circulate and scrub. I have management experience as a coordinator in which I was responsible for an orthopedic annual budget for 4 years in a row as well as team members that reported to me. I have a great personality, I pay close attention to detail. I don't cut corners in reference to patient care. I'm a team player! No one has all the right answers. If I don't know the answer, I seek until I find it. I also keep all information, problems within the chain of command. I also believe that problems can't be solved by just one person, it's a team effort.

Honored with Daisy award in 2020

Thank you for your attention and consideration of my employment with your establishment.

Respectfully,

Jessica Claire

Skills
  • Perioperative Care- Openly articulate conversation, decrease risk of wrong patient information being conveyed. Take notes! If something is not understood, ask questions, get to the root of the problem to fix it! No such thing as a stupid question.
  • Am multitask oriented, learned this trait by doing trauma, being able to prioritize issues that need to be addressed accordingly and their severity of need.
  • Patient Care- Is why I became a nurse! Provide very positive bond with patients. Place them in relaxed atonement. Believe in first impressions, with that being said, I believe in selling myself to my patient because I may be the cheerful person they've met all day, this thereby cuts their tension.
  • Daisy Award- I was awarded the Daisy Award for patient as well as family teaching that I did. I used layman's terms and drew a picture of an orthopedic procedure that was to be done as well as answer any and all questions their surgeon did not answer.
