Nursing Home Administrator with a focus on developing high standards of practice, evaluating patient care for effectiveness and implementing necessary changes to programs and policies. With 12 years of experience in long term care from direct care to management, I am dedicated to creating an environment where my patient not only survive but thrive.
After completing the AIT program in 2014, I transferred within the company to take over our home in Bruce. I oversee the day to day operations of the facility to ensure we maintain compliance with federal and state regulations while providing the highest level of resident care possible. Prior to my arrival at Bruce Community Center, the facility only averaged 3 months out of the previous 5 years of obtaining a net profit. The facility had not garnered a net profit at the end of the fiscal year in those previous years also. Since my arrival, the facility has netted a net gain each month and in both 2014 and 2015 will see a net profit during the fiscal year. I have also been able to maintain lowest overtime margin in the company of 19 homes. My overtime percentage since my tenure there has been just above 1%. I have also found success in annual surveys as we have only received 3 deficiencies all of which were D level or below with no substandard of care tags.
