MSMC had transitional program for individuals holding bachelors degree in different area crossing over to a nursing career, with clinical rotation at Ronald Regan Hospital. UCLA faculty needed an instructor for traditional BSN students placed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. A rewarding experience, declined continued employment due to acceptance to USAF.
Travel assignment with Emerald Health Services in a brand new state of the art facility that had recently transitioned from another location. Requested to stay longer, but committed to clinical instructor position.
Travel assignment then per diem on level three labor and delivery unit performing average of 500 deliveries per month. After repeat assignments had full time job as a flight attendant, and HR was happy to give per diem. A permanent management job offered multiple times, but time commuting became difficult.
