Manage patients with oxygen therapy including high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), tracheostomy, endotracheal intubation mechanical ventilation, noninvasive mechanical ventilation (NIMV), biphasic positive airway pressure (BIPAP), continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), and nasal cannula
Administered care of patients requiring induced hypothermia via cooling blanket for Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE), surgical intervention for myelomeningocele/ meningoceles, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), gastroschisis/ omphalocele, and Tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) Activities performed include caring for neonates with congenital heart defects, meconium aspiration, extremely low birthweight (ELBW), congenital anomalies, sepsis/pneumonia, feeding intolerances, withdrawal, hypoglycemia and hyperbilirubinemia.
Manage patients with cardiac monitoring, pulse oximetry, isolettes, medication administration, intravenous infusions/ gtts, PICC, arterial, Broviac, and UAC/UVC lines, nasogastric/orogastric tubes
