Over the last 5+ years have been involved in the testing and implementing several new maintenance programs. Worked with IT person to develop a program that would track breakdown calls, equipment downtime, and technician time on that equipment. Pella Corporate office then implemented their own version and I assisted in debugging the system and simplifying it so technicians would use it. Corporate then switched to another company that was better and i started all over again to make that program be simple and effective for tracking parts, equipment issues, downtime, and personnel time on equipment..
Was in charge of a parts room, approximately 4500 Sq. ft., there were some shelving but mostly boxes full of parts for machines that were dug through to find the correct part.
Over the course of 4 years setup shelves for each machine, put parts in separate boxes, gave them part numbers, and built an inventory system.
Other duties was to monitor the parts window and give parts to the maintenance personnel, receive parts in, run locally to get parts.
Took classes that Pella requested of the college to give for their maintenance personnel, they weren't degree classes.
