Summary

I am a wife and a mother of four. I have worked in the healthcare field since 1998. I started as a CNA at Hatley Health Care of which I worked several years before leaving and pursuing other interest. I later used my CNA skills when I became employed with Southern Care Hospice for two years, at which time I was laid off. I then returned to Hatley Health Care to maintain my CNA license over the next few years. I final decided to continue my training and went on to became a LPN. At the end of my second semester I started working as a student nurse at Shelby Ridge Rehab Select and have continue working there after becoming a lpn. I have worked on the Coved unit with patients that were recovering and had symptoms of Coved. Once the Coved unit was moved to another facility I resumed working on the rehab unit. I currently have rehab and long-term care patients. I now use my past CNA skills to add to my new knowledge as a LPN to provide the best possible care for my patients.
