System consisted of 3 components: database nodes (Java), master nodes (Python), and a client API (Python).
Keys partitioned across 7 database nodes (AWS EC2 instances) by using a custom consistent hashing implementation.
Ensured eventual consistency of data by implementing an anti-entropy protocol.
WEB CONTENT ANALYSIS SYSTEM (ADVANCED NETWORK SECURITY- ECE 8813) - FALL 2015 Lead team of 5 in designing a classification system that could analyze changes between two historical versions of a web page and classify each change as malicious or benign.
Developed overall system architecture that consisted of 3 components: a threaded web crawler, a custom HTML diff algorithm that detected changes in the HTML DOM tree, and a machine-learning classifier that was trained on past benign and malicious web page changes.
