Fralin Museum of Art Student Docent January 2013 ­ Current Responsible for giving tours to visitors to the University of Virginia art museum from toddlers to adults. Created individualized tours based on frequently changing exhibitions in the museum and a variety of tour themes. Worked with a variety of diverse populations from elementary, middle, and high schools in Virginia. Gained extensive art knowledge as well as the skills necessary to facilitate discussion about art from a variety of people. Early Visions Volunteer January 2015 ­ Current Mentored youth of the Charlottesville Boy's and Girl's Club through the Fralin Museum of Art. Worked on exhibit- based art projects with mentees, and worked to become a positive, creative influence in their lives. Helped further develop and promote this program, and create programming from behind the scenes. Hoos for Memory Charlottesville, VA Member, Art Coordinator, & President September 2012 ­ Current Led the Alzheimer's Awareness club at the University of Virginia. Planned large-scale events, managed finances, corresponded with the Alzheimer's Association, delegated tasks, and collaborated with other groups such as service fraternities. Designed tee shirts and promotional material to fundraise for events. Raised upwards of $10,000 for Alzheimer's Research over four years as a member of this organization. Helped the organization to grow in popularity and success through promotion, plentiful events, and public relations.
