Although with only 1.5 years of hands on experience in this specific field, I am a proven Maintenance Technician with an exceptional record of strategic approaches to improve operational efficiency with machines and equipment in our plant. Good knowledge with adjusting system components or removing and replacing defective parts. Excellent problem solver with strong mechanical skills. My main downfall would be electrical, but this is simply from lack of experience. I strongly believe knowledge is power and am eager to learn. I am familiar with 3 phase motors, soft-start VFD's, starters, and Overloads by companies such as Allen-Bradley, Cutler-Hammer, and Eaton. Also photo-eyes, proximity switches, conveyer systems, advanced pneumatic placer arms with timing belts, and other systems of the like.
If there are any questions regarding my capabilities or work ethics, I will gladly provide a contact list of former employers and coworkers. I take pride in my work, and always try to be the one who has the correct answer to a question.
*This was a family owned business i thoroughly enjoyed working for for years. Unfortunately, Charleston just became too much of a hassle to continue to live in. During a family event at our lakehouse, I was offered a job by J.W. Welding.
This was a internship program. Blanchard Caterpillar individually interviewed and hand picked me and 19 others out of over 600 applicants. Consequentially, the 1.5 hour one-way commute and $11/hr wage were not able to keep my interest at a young age (20).
I live on Clarks Hill Lake in Appling, Ga. I enjoy fishing and boating and keep my house open to those who would like to come. I also am rather knowledgeable in the high-performance diesel world and own several vehicles.
