ASRI is an internationally recognized provider of adventure safety and rescue training which brings 38 years of tourism, emergency medical services, and conservation experience to our educational endeavors. As top-rated wilderness safety and risk management experts, we also train instructors for several adventure organizations.
Currently, ASRI supports communities of over 1,200 professionals and provides risk management consulting services to a wide range of tourism operators in Costa Rica alone.

Resource Management of Federal lands including – River planning/logistics of trails, camps, parks, bathrooms, storage facilities, work equipment, inventory, telecommunications devices, specialized rafting gear, Trauma kits, and Rescue equipment. Administration of accounting/budgets, Microsoft office/publishing, surveys, incident reports, investigations, and reconnaissance evaluations. Instruct workshops for commercial raft company's, host meeting with California Water Resource Dept., Conservation Crews, Sheriff River Patrol units, Highway Patrol H1 Helicopter unit, and State Parks and Recreation. Initiate Risk Management Plans, Standard of Operation Procedures, Evacuation Plans for Yuba River, American River System, Stanislaus, Mokelumne, Tuolumne and Merced Rivers. Mitigate the establishment of preservation and protection (Wild & Scenic Act 1968) for several rivers including North Fork American, and Merced River System. Maintenance of transportation vehicles, camp facilities, bathrooms, parking areas, signs, trails, displays, kiosks, water gauges, heavy equipment, power tools, and repeaters. Enforcement and litigation against illegal plantations, timber arson, gold dredging, trespass, unauthorized road construction, and garbage disposal. Project involvement & completion between 1988-1993 included-

When it all began – Apprentice Swiftwater Rescue Instructor - River Safety & Rescue Association. During summer months, our focus catered to Commercial river guides, Sheriffs Dept. , Water Resource employees, Dept. Forestry, Fire Dept., Fish and Game. We established a Professional logbook account of courses since 1985, performed an equipment logbook and inspections reports required by Sheriffs Dept., Rescue 3 International, Search & Rescue Associates.
