GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR
Professional Summary

Above all, I love being a team player, whether that be with co-workers, members of my current club, or staff. I cherish being creative where I can, while still being a serious, nose-to-the-grindstone, hard worker. I expend notably positive energy to people when I can, and make sure to know at least a little something about each individual I interact with. I say with no humility that I am an excellent teacher, coach and leader, and an exceptional communicator. In any position, I would take my close to obsessive organizational skills a long way. And if put in a departmental position, I would not only keep it organized to the max, but that would allow me to take control of the department and find room for creative improvement.

During my time in journalism, I have become an outstanding writer, and work well with schedules and deadlines. In my personal life, I've found that I find joy and satisfaction in thorough analysis, and feel that I could provide insightful reports of events or XXX if needed. But most importantly, I am especially qualified to not only work well within a given format, but am open to change and creativity. I know I've never done this specific type of job, but feel that it would not only come naturally to me, but I would be a quick study on how to perfect it. *( Repetitive)*

Accomplishments
  • I was one of 14 approved applicants out of 7,000 nationwide to be part of the 2009 Summer Thomson Reuters Internship. I was challenged as a bilingual reporter in Lima, Peru.
Skills
  • Have great rapport with club members, and consistently encourage their feedback.
  • Am an excellent instructor, which includes being a teacher, coach and a leader.
  • Closely monitor exercise form and correct it with sensitivity and kindness.
  • While certifying, re-certifying or earning CECs, I gain knowledge about ways to create new classes, or excitingly modify existing ones for members.
  • Am a huge source of inspiration for class participants. I strongly encourage them to find their own fitness levels, and to constantly find ways to rise above them.
