Working in the customer service industry I have gained many valuable skills pertaining to working with the public. I have worked end to end in the customer service world; From volunteering with children with disabilities, to working AM and PM shifts signing hundreds of people up at a brand new gym, to working in a small business in Chicago, and working a full time unpaid internship with many patients at a hospital. These very diverse experiences and environments have taught me many skills needed to work with the public. These skills and experiences have led me to want to continue to work in an environment that contributes to others needs before my own.
I was promoted to assistant manager at the last gym I have worked at.
My main responsibilities included: greeting customers, signing people up for memberships, giving outlined tours of the gym, maintaining the locker rooms and showers, selling merchandise to customers, answering phone calls with questions or concerns about the gym, and keeping track of monthly membership payments.
My main responsibilities included: Answering phone calls, recording orders to be sent out, making outgoing calls, processing orders, explaining the products to the customers, keeping track of orders being sent out on time.
I will be in the EMT program starting in January. In this program I will have classes twice a week in the evenings.
