This acute care regiment was invaluable for my future in the Emergency Department. Although I was a new graduate I was placed in the Lake city Veteran Affairs Emergency Department. Once or twice a week I would have to report to the Gainesville VA. Depending on what was going on, the class would either go to clinical s in one of the hospitals or we would go to a nursing class at UF. In May of 2010 the graduates were pined by the Dean Of Nursing at UF.
