Customer Service 09/2011 to 12/2012 Al\'do Farm Corn Maize – Shallowater, Texas The Corn Maize is a farm that uses a Corn Field as a giant maize using agriculture in a new way. Besides the main attraction there are also things such as a corn cannon, hay bale tractor rides, and a pumpkin patch. My job was to work all these different attractions as a customer service type role. In the maize I was in charge of helping people who needed out or had other issues. At the other attractions I handled cash and dealt with assisting customers in whatever way possible. This was a seasonal job during the fall that I worked at my junior and senior year of high school.
Teller01/2014 to 12/2014 American Bank of Commerce – Lubbock, Texas At American Bank of Commerce I worked as a part time teller while I attended college. I handled all teller responsibilities such as withdraws, deposits, balance and account issues, cash advances, wire transfers, and multiple other daily transactions. I was also in charge of balancing the coin machine and vault daily. Skills including 10 key, customer service interactions, answering phone calls, attention to detail, multitasking, and most importantly accuracy.
Teller Support Specialist/ Lead Teller08/2015 to Current City Bank Texas – Lubbock, Texas At City Bank Texas I worked as a part time teller while I attended college. During my first 14 months I was considered a teller support specialist. This means I was able to travel branch to branch as a teller. Going to multiple branches and working under many people allowed me to learn to adapt to changes as they occur. I handled all teller responsibilities such as withdraws, deposits, balance and account issues, cash advances, wire transfers, and multiple other daily transactions. In October 2016 a branch lost a supervisor, and I was moved there as a permanent spot. I am in charge of balancing the coin machine, vault, and cash dispenser as needed. I am in charge of ordering all office supplies, and materials needed for the bank. As a lead teller for the previous 9 months I have been giving the ability to sign off on large items(check deposits over $2,000), give overrides to tellers who the system notices something may be of concern with the transaction. I also have become the highest PT teller and as a lead that means on Saturdays and from 5-6 every night I am in charge of over 8 locations. If a teller is unsure of a transaction or encounters any issues I am the one with the final say. This means I handle many phone calls from upset customers and handle the situation to the best of my abilities. Skills including 10 key, customer service interactions, answering phone calls, attention to detail, multitasking, and most importantly accuracy. I received a excellence in customer service award in February of 2017 for staying late on a Saturday and helping open up multiple new accounts.
Counselor06/2014 to 08/2014 Mountain View Christian Camp – Alto, New Mexico At Mountain View Christian Camp I was one of the summer counselors. This was a 6 week long job of 1 week long camps. Each week was wither ages 9-13 or 13-18. As a counselor I had many responsibilities. Things such as setting up activities, zip lining, archery, paint ball were part of the weekly jobs. I also made sure kids were in the right classes or place at certain times following a strict time schedule. Many times this job involved penitence and understanding as I was in charge of 10-15 kids in my cabin per week. One of the rewarding things was being there for the kids and listening and building a connection to help give advice and impact them going forward. During the summer at camp I was in charge of all photography and film making as well. Throughout the week I would take pictures, videos, and build a weekly video for the campers to take back and show friends and family members.
