ConsultantFeb 2014 Oil & Gas Completion Consultant － Woodward, OKI pull onto location with a stake on a hillside. I plan where to put water well and build location pad and entry road. I line up equipment to build location, fresh water, reserve pits, and drill water wells. I then move drilling rig onto location and spud. While drilling I oversee daily activities including: proper mud weight, pump pressures, bit weight, daily running costs. I set and figure open hole capacities for surface string. I order production casing, check lengths, figure spacing on short joints, float equipment, and cementing capacity. I line up vendors and communicate with RR Commission. After RDMO drilling, I grade and prep location for work over rig. My duties on completion include: overseeing workover rig, wireline, pumping frac./acid jobs, tally pipe, space rbp's and packers, and calculating well production. I then configure well with rods, pump, and tubing. I order pump jack, set tanks, and put well on production. All while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
District ManagerAug 2012 to Feb 2014 Dialog Wireline － Woodward, OKAs District Manager I oversaw day to day operations. I managed a team of wireline engineers and operators. I maintained good standing with DOT/ATF. I sold corporate and field accounts. I reviewed financials weekly to maintain a healthy EBIDTA. While we were busy I would engineer on a truck, rig explosives, run cranes, and teach new hires in the field.
District ManagerAug 2010 to Aug 2012 Reliance Pressure Control － Elk City, OKAt Reliance I was tasked with putting together a team of workers to to handle 10K & 15K pressure control situations. Our services were specialized in 10K packages which included: 10K lubricators, 15K grease injection units, heater packages, and 50 ton 145' tall cranes. I made sure we were in compliance with DOT regulations. We tested, painted, and serviced all of our own equipment. I also established several new customer relations in the corporate office and the field.
District Manager/SalesJun 2007 to Aug 2010 Gray Wireline － Woodward, OKWhen Gray acquired Falcon in June 2007, I moved my family to Elk City, OK. to establish a new base of operations. I put together a base that serviced the area with 4 wireline units, 2 grease units, 10k lubricator, and 3- 50 ton cranes. I managed engineers, new hires, explosives, shop, training, ATF/DOT regulations, paperwork and truck maintenance. I sold contracts and established customer relations during the time I was the district manager. In 2009 I moved into sales to keep prior relationships I built, and built a new customer base.
Wireline Engineer/ OperatorJun 2001 to Jun 2007 Falcon Wireline － Woodward, OKIn 2001 I help establish Falcon Wireline. I started out rigging explosives, making sure our equipment and electrical subs and contacts were clean, organized and rebuilt. I maintained a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement. After approximately 9 months I started training to be an engineer and operating my own truck. I was in charge of keeping a correct explosive count, overseeing operator safety and DOT compliance. I specialized in high pressure deep wells, vertical and horizontal. I ran rcbl, neutron, caliper, temperature, gamma, plug, and an assortment of different cased hole e-line tools. In 2007 Gray Wireline acquired Falcon Wireline.
*Crane, manlift, cpr/first aid, H2S, Class A Hazmat, radioactive material, training on proper fall protection and tie off, blood borne pathogens, and on site 10K pressure control and lubricator operations.
Applied Science/Diesel Mech.OSU － Okmulgee, OK, United StatesI attended OSU for 1.2 years. While at school I trained in electrical, welding, and problem diagnosis. I maintained a 3.9 gpa. While attending school I was presented with the opportunity to help start a wireline company and mechanic on wireline units. So I moved my family to Woodward to start Falcon Wireline.
High School Diploma2000Woodward High School － Woodward, OK, USAWhile attending WHS, I was involved in FCA, football, and golf. I also attended Woodward Vo-Tech, where I trained for 2 years in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. After graduating from Woodward Vo-tech as 4th in the State of Oklahoma for diesel mechanics, Freightliner sponsored me to attend OSU Okmulgee.
Activities and Honors
I have been married to my wife Shawna for 17 years. We have 3 children, Kami who is 17, Masey who is 13, and Gabriel who is 9. They are very active in basketball, dance, and baseball, which keeps us even more busy.
I am a member of the SPE.
I attend OCF functions.
Cased Hole Electric Line
Managed or ran: Radial Cement Bond Logs, Multi-Finger Calipers, XY Calipers, Gamma Ray Logs, CCL's, Set Cibp,Rbp,Cbp, Packers (Permanent and Retrievable), Pulse Neutron and Compensated Neutron Logs, Spectral Gamma tools, Chemical Cutters, Jet Cutters, and various perforation applications. 24 hour operations, on 5 to 50 stage frac's involving cbp's.
Slick line/Braided Line
Managed or ran: Sheer down tool with hydraulic jars to fish e-line tools, standing valves, plugs, perforating charges, pump down tool to shift sleeves in horizontal wells.
In 2009, at Gray wireline, I partnered us with Bobcat and Cudd e-coil units to help diversify us in the market. I helped rig up stripper head and lubricator to operate under varying pressures. We used a TTS electrical head connection to connect back to go thread for e-line. We used the addressable safe fire system to set plugs and perf off of e-coil. I ran rcbl and gamma/ccl logs off of e-coil. We also set plugs mechanically. We completed the Colony Wash wells using 2" ctu with 2 7/8" motor and mill, the wells had 4.5" 13.5# casing. When zones were hard to pump into we would sand perf. with 2" ctu.
I have been involved on locations using snubbing units to push pipe in the hole, ram to ram. We have used these units to fish wireline tools and drill plugs while re-completing wells.
I have supervised drill outs, frac. jobs, setting retainers, perforating, tubing measurements on depth to TCP, setting EOT where it needs to be to produce, swabbing, setting rbp, packers with work over rig on hole.
Bop and Rams
I have rebuilt wireline and bop rams and ensured proper operation. I am familiar with tubing rams, coil rams, set up and operation. I am familiar with shear rams, blind rams, and pipe rams.
