Software Developer and CEO11/2003 to Current
Thrill Rider Productions – Oklahoma City, OK

As owner and sole developer, I created ATCsimulator® and ATCsimulator®2. ATCsimulator®2 is a Windows-based simulation consisting of over 50,000 lines of code written entirely in Visual Basic 6.0 Professional. This application is a simulation of an ARTS-IIIa radar terminal and supports speech recognition technology, simulating 120 TRACONs with over 100,000 flights involving arrival and departure traffic. This application is not just a game, it is also used as a training tool for ATC coursework at Auburn University, Purdue, St. Louis University, Middle State Tennessee, and others. It is also being used as a research tool at MIT. Development of ATCsimulator® and ATCsimulator®2 involved the integration of GIS, NIMA, NOAA and Jeppessen navigation databases. STARs, SIDS and terminal approach used in ATCsimulator® and ATCsimulator®2 are derived from databases obtained from the National Aeronautical Charting Office (AVN-500). Application of these databases dictated skill in cartographic/mapping techniques and methods including, Mercator and Lambert/Conical coding skill, adapted for use with Visual Basic 6.0. I am very proficient with the ARINC 424 data specification. ATCsimulator® and ATCsimulator®2 have generated over $3,500,000 in retail sales since its introduction in the PC game market on January 16, 2001.
