  • May 1983 until April 1991 I worked at East Texas Medical Center at Tyler in the Medical Surgical ICU and the third floor Critical Care Neuro/Neuro ICU units.
  • I provided care for critically ill and injured patients. I was educated and proficient in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac monitoring, maintenance of ventilated patients, vasopressic agents, and care of neurologically injured patients.
  • I served as Assistant Head Nurse on 3-11 and 11-7 shifts and as interim Acting Head Nurse when our Head Nurse was on family or sick leave.
  • At a nine month time period at the late '80's, I worked at Tyler Neurosurgical with Dr. Guy Danielson as his hospital and office nurse.
