Assist in ensuring the LRPF-CFTs Line of Efforts are within cost, schedule, and performance in all phases of the materiel acquisition life cycles to include development, testing, qualification, acquisition, fielding, product improvement, and sustainment of the system. Coordinate between the Officer and Enlisted Personnel Management Division and the Fires Center of Excellence. Promotes special programs to ensure the morale and esprit-de-corps of the branch. Supervises a nation wide comprehensive cadet recruiting program to encourage the very best ROTC cadets to join the Field Artillery. Lastly, executes leader development to grow individual and organizational capacity.
Provides operational and administrative support to a multi-disciplinary directorate of Inspectors General who inspect, assess, teach, train and report issues that affect world-wide Army readiness, discipline, morale, training and quality of life. Assists Division Chief, Team Leaders and Operations officers in the development of inspection concepts, objectives, and methodologies. Reviews inspection documents and reports for clarity, accurateness and completeness prior to submission to The Inspector General and Secretary of the Army. Integrates actions across Directorate, to enhance Division visibility and ensure mission accomplishment. Manages the Directorate operating budget, maximizes resources, and conducts teach and train with all new inspectors.
Responsible for the training, readiness, moral, discipline and welfare of Soldiers assigned to the battalion. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing FORSCOM directed post-mobilization ground collective training for deploying National Guard and Joint Service Warriors. Responsible for readiness oversight, lanes training, and evaluation of mobilized and joint services units. Responsible for ensuring battalion meets all required taskings and suspense's from higher headquarters. Responsible for the mentorship and development of all assigned officers and senior NCOs. Develops and sustains strong, supportive relationships with leaders throughout Division East.
