I am a self-motivated ACSM certified personal trainer capable of guiding clients in safe exercise, taking into account individual physical strength and abilities. Adept at leading groups of all ages and administering fitness assessments. Accomplished at counseling clients on proper exercise and nutrition habits. Organized and patient with high expectations.
I started blogging in December of 2015. During college, my biomechanics professor set up a project for the class to start their own blog and write about a topic that interest them for a specific amount of days. I enjoyed the project so much, I then decided to take it more seriously and dedicated my time to starting a fitness/health blog - which over the years progressively grew and I made the decision to not only blog on my own site(s) but start writing for other editors and websites to expand my writing and make an income while also building myself and knowledge base. I still blog, and enjoy it immensely (though I have slowed down, I do however plan on making it a focus in the coming months)
I started looking into powerlifting late 2017 after being hired at the gym. I started researching the sport when a member had brought it up in conversation. I had a connection link me to a professional powerlifter in Columbus by the name of Matt Wenning - met with him and he helped to develop my lifts, form, talk to me about the sport, since then I have been signing up for competitions in Ohio.
Sports have always been apart of my life, I grew up playing basketball, softball and running track. I enjoy being an athlete and coaching athletics and helping other athletes reach performance goals.
